rimes with family.

"NEWS-FUH-LASH!!"
(and in case there is any question where that opening quote came from, might I refer you to the 2003 movie, UPTOWN GIRLS... starring Dakota Fanning and... Brittany Murphy, in my heart forever. I hope to adopt a kitten soon and name him/her Murphy. Or Molly Gunn... in her honor.)

Maybe you read my previous blog entry, *not quite a 'lady and gentlemen'*, and maybe you didn't. (and if you didn't, please do so now.)

Anyballs... welcome to what a blog looks like when cherry vodka takes control.
Long story longer, I tweeted that alleged blog that showcased a faux track-list of the new album by LeAnn. Imagine my reaction when LeAnn Rimes tweeted me back, and I did 7 backflips. (now imagine that I have no clue how to do a backflip, yet I did it- 7 times.)

LeAnn tweeted, and I quote:

"@jimbob90210 any track list you have been reading is WAY off!!! I'll post the real one soon"
May 15, 8:48am

(for anyone still confused, I am jimbob90210)

LeAnn's last studio album, FAMILY, is a soundtrack to my soul...
I am anxious for her next covers album,
and can not wait for the follow-up of her own original material.
(as a CRIMINAL, I might be BETTER OFF)

"Don't you try to shame my name,
cause til the death I will defend-
Yeah their blood runs through my veins-
it's where I start & where I'll end.

Here I stand on roots that deep,
we laugh, we cry, we hurt, we bleed-
we're best of friends & worst enemies,
we're all to blame, we're all the same,
make no apologies...
this is my Family."

not quite a 'lady and gentlemen'

Maybe, just maybe... you stumbled upon this blog by accident, with zero connection to me, Jimmie Taylor of El Dorado, Kansas, as a person...
and if that is indeed the case, let me tell you now how much I love and adore and respect and love and adore and respect LeAnn Rimes...

(who am I kidding... if you are reading this, you already know me and are already telling me to shut up in your head.) Do you know what the beauty of a personal blog is? I DON'T HAVE TO SHUT UP... EVER!!! I can say what I want, and if you are still reading, you are either bored to tears, or you care about what i HAVE (caps lock) to say. And I LOVE and ADORE LeAnn Rimes.
So... LeAnn's next album, LADY AND GENTLEMEN, is a covers album... she covers songs previously made famous by male country artists. ANYCRAP! (I can't focus, which is why I could never run a successful blog or anything) Here is a leaked link (that's not true?) of the tracklisting... of the new album... that's not true?? This much is confirmed: SWINGIN' is the first single, and I will love it. (www.leannfans.com - I LOVE YOU MELISSA!)

1.”Swingin’” (John Anderson, Delmore)
2.”He Stopped Loving Her Today” (Bobby Braddock, Curly Putman)
3.”Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain (Fred Rose)
4.”The Chair” (Hank Cochran, Dean Dillon)
5.”I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” (Hank Williams)
6.”Deeper Than the Holler” (Paul Overstreet, Don Schlitz)
7.”Suspicious Minds” (Mark James)
8.”You Never Even Called Me By My Name” (Steve Goodman, John Prine)
9.”If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me” (David Bellamy)
10.”Don’t Close Your Eyes” (Bob McDill)
11.”I’ve Been Everywhere” (Geoff Mack)
12.”Good Hearted Woman” (Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson)
13.”The Dance” (Tony Arata)
14.”Islands In The Stream” featuring Ronan Keating (Barry Gibb)

*Since posting this – Darrell Brown has advised that the above song list is NOT the official list and is completely incorrect. An official list will be posted at a later date. Also, the confirmed date for LeAnn’s single is June 21st, not May 24th. She apologized on her personal twitter account.* (www.leannfans.com)
